NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on the 2nd day of May 2023, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, two directors will be elected to serve 4-year terms.

The District is managed by a five-member board of directors elected by the registered voters in the District.
The District office and shop is centrally located just south of Elmore’s Corner on Highway 172 in La Plata County, Colorado. In 2019 the District completed construction of new, modern facility that provides office space, a meeting room and garage area for safely storing vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
The District provides mosquito control services for property owners and residents within its service area of approximately 100 square miles. The District boundaries extend south to the New Mexico state line, north to Lemon Dam, east to the LPC-Durango Airport and west to the intersection of Highways 550 and 160 at Farmington Hill. The Dis

The District’s primary source of revenue is general property taxes.
